Today, I could have gone out drinking and partying but decided to stay in at home mainly because I was feeling a bit social but not tooo too social.

Also I made a solemn vow no-making out till January 18th...I've been way too focused on that recently (if you check my old pages you'll see) No real issues with the ladies but I'm all out...

Consider me RSVP'd, plus, I'm durable and fairly bite proof so the chair thing would be a non-issue for I

I'd like to go to this thing... I think right now it's best to keep it at a tentative yes, and as we grow nearer I'll let you know.

Really depends what weekend I'm going out to Edson, and whether we end up picking up another out of town (thusly, weekend work) contract...

We'll see.

Today I have discovered that I am allergic to alcohol.
It's true.
After consuming mass amounts I tend to be groggy and say things like "I love you" to loads of people.

Also I get strangely lethargic, and surly the day afer.

miao!! ARRR!!!
mr_dave:
I get very religous when I drink.

Usually end up in the ceramic church, praying to the porcilin gods.

Updating my day, I spent an internet/computer day free yesterday. Instead I did 3 million loads of laundry . Before which my living area looked like Rue's. Havok and clothes everywhere. I also watched almost all of season 1 la femme nikita, not quite ALL but lots. I'm so so on it. If anybody hasn't guessed I'm a huge tv on dvd fan! I cannot...

Man, I haven't seen that season either! It's a plan. As to the date... my book isn't beside me... and I'm lazy... but I spose I need to go get a caffeinated beverage. Sigh.

The second weekend, as in the 13th-15th? We could do that. I'll need to tell them at work right away, so give me a call and let me know or send me a text message or something.

As to the length... well, I think your plan of only watching certain ones is probably the way to go, 'cause there's just no way to watch even half of them. Well, maybe half (51 hours? Yeah we could do that in two and a half days...) But anyway. Maybe what we could do is have synopses of the episodes we don't watch? I know television without pity used to have the best synopses ever if you didn't mind spoilers and like your synopses incredibly snarky. And hilarious. They're more for those who've seen the eps and just need refreshers, but if you've got some background you'll get it.

More news on my attempt at a major buffy Marathon....

Buffy is over 6000 minutes long, that's a long time to watch them all...

I'd like to query all my attendants...

Q1: Have you seen EVERY episode already? or Conversely did you start/stop watching certain episodes?

Q2: Which were your favorite episodes

Q3: If I made this a 2 day sleepover could you attend? (It...

These days I'm using the slow parts of my work shifts to marathon Buffy. Hit the third season premiere this afternoon. It's one of the perks of my job.
manchester_black:
Q1: I think so... I've seen enough wink
Q2: Cant recall names, pretty much the same ones eveyone else really liked (hush, et al,) and then there was the one where Xander stopped those undead dudes from blowing up the school.
Q3:possibly- it would depoend which days
Q4: I think so, although, I really really really want a new job, so I could always get my ass canned wink

Today I'm a jerk in my own dreams!

Here's the scenario.

I'm going to some sort of outdoor amusement park thing someplace out of Canada.

I'm in a large group, about 20 people

I decide to bring my collapsible baton

They're doing searches at the front door, and i almost sneak it by.

I have gotten through except they start searching my groin area (usually...

Yeah, I'd definitely be game for having the whole buffyverse on DVD. count me in
carla:
Why is it specifically someplace out of Canada?

I am indeed still working with Brian in St. Albert. It's going pretty well, my co-workers are for the most part really neat, there's only one CEC who terrifies me sometimes. wink

A 2 day event would be super-awesome, but it would mean a lot of logistics and we'd have to plan it way in advance. It might be worth the effort though... could be a very good time. When were you thinking for it?

My little brother Ken is coming back into town today, and i can't wait to see him. AND my ex-girlfriend paid me back the $900 she owed me, and my CIM cheque came in for $330 dollers.
This is amazing!
Still burning buffy for all my fellow slayer fans.
It's a lot of work, but it'll be a good pay off to see all those...

I love Buffy. Seriously, I am only 4 degrees from SMG.

Dating sucks. And why not be picky? Why settle for less than you want? It's not fair to other people if you try to change what you don't like about them.

You're back!

I will be sad that I'm missing a party in calgary though...stupid busy time of year.

Alright my break from poker has enabled me to do all the hundreds of loads of laundry which has built up inside my house.
Now I think it's time to clear out the hundreds of loads of laundry within my brain.
I'd like to say Bye to all my SG friends on the site, I hope to continue seeing you all in real life.

Spent tonight for drinks with a coworker who'se going to be going on to bigger and better things as a folk singer / writer.
Sad. I'll miss her.
We talked about relationships and work and all that jazz, it was good.
It'll be sad to see her go.

On another note, I've finished my gringo cards but I'm not sure I want to go to...

I'm all refreshed ! I went to the staff party and actually really enjoyed myself.
I've realized that I only like to go to parties , if

a)there is an activity to do.
b)or really hot single girls

i organized a staff poker tournament (where prizes were to be had for the top 4 people ) and it was a blast. It helped tha I...
