man, you just never know what one more day will bring.

i was so frusterated with my sculptures, that i pitched on that i had been making on spec thru the wall of my studio, because it wasnt going the way i wanted it too. i looked thru the hole in the wall, thinking"that was probably a mistake" and i noticed the snow had stuck to it, and was melting in such a way that it flowed along the sides. and as this piece was made of stainless steel, and chrome is my favorite color, i hauled all 250 lbs of it back inside, and started working. the inspiration was flowing like i havent felt in months. after i finished, i took a few pictures, and sent it to my agent. she immediatly called me, and said that just this morning she had gotten a call, and needed a fountain. the piece i had just finished met all of the criteria that the customer had set forth, and she was sure i would make a sale.

then i got a hug from out of nowhere.
