Amen to that brother! I try to do as much as I can, I know there are so many out there that aren't as priviledged as myself. I collect can tabs for the kidney foundation - every 1000 gives someone a free dialysis session and I also do the blogathon every year for cancer. Those are the main ones, though, everything else is a little here and there and helping granny's cross the street, etc... I'm glad you know what it's like to give, that's something that people overlook everyday. Sad, but true.

I agree with you about Dreamcatcher. I saw it last night and was dissapointed that it ended up a bit sci-fi. Didn't read the book, so all I had to go on was the trailers to the film. Meh... at least I got to have some popcorn soup - yeah, I like it super buttery +o)

Even though I don't agree with all of your views, I very much respect you now for sharing them. It does take guts to do that. A lotof people find it very easy to keep quiet and avoid attracting any sort of attention to themselves. Kudos to you.

i was a broken man and now i'm in the healing process.......15 years of constant meth,heroin,crack,and tequilia.......done alot a damage to the brain dept.......two years without even so much as a drink or hita weed......probably not the same type a broken man as your thinkin' of but that's what it made me think of.......

yea, this whole buyin' land thing's kinda weird for me.....i been basically livin' on the ship i work on for the last four years....now i'm gonna have a house and a "plot a land".....as well as something like 120k in debit owed....but livin' far from town on my own place is something that really apeals to me at this stage in life......talkeetna is a wonderful place.......lotsa interesting folks livin' there own lifestyles up there.....pretty much the same way things are on the kenai penesula(sp?) where i'm building........anyway i ramble on alot......

i like to read your posts....they're interesting....unlike mine.....i feel like i never know what to write about even though my life is full of crazy shit and people........
