been sick for a week, and the weather has been so beautiful. today, i had to spend about 10 hours outside, and have been feeling better, so what happens? it breaks off cold, about 30 degrees, with a twenty mph wind whistling along.

anyway, i went to see a bunch of movies, and the one i was most disappointed with, was dreamcatcher. i read the...

wow, what a life. i'm glad that you can even exist on your own.
i met a girl once who had had a large portion of her brain removed in an attempt to control her epilepsy. it was so interesting to hear her talk about her recovery process. she said that she didn't have to relearn how to read, but that it felt so weird to do it. like she couldn't believe that was how people read....

Amen to that brother! I try to do as much as I can, I know there are so many out there that aren't as priviledged as myself. I collect can tabs for the kidney foundation - every 1000 gives someone a free dialysis session and I also do the blogathon every year for cancer. Those are the main ones, though, everything else is a little here and there and helping granny's cross the street, etc... I'm glad you know what it's like to give, that's something that people overlook everyday. Sad, but true.

I agree with you about Dreamcatcher. I saw it last night and was dissapointed that it ended up a bit sci-fi. Didn't read the book, so all I had to go on was the trailers to the film. Meh... at least I got to have some popcorn soup - yeah, I like it super buttery +o)

there are about 500 movies i want to see, in theaters right now.

i have to go see my father this weekend. we havent really talked for about three years. im nervous about it. my family seems to be the only people with any intrest in hurting me, and they are so good at thier work.

i would like to hear about peoples views on open mindedness, tolerance, and understanding.

you see, i feel there isnt enough of any of these things in the world today. and im not just talking about for the people with an alternate lifestyle, or new beliefs, or a less than mainstream religion.

im look white.actually, i am native american , scotch , irish , italian...

Even though I don't agree with all of your views, I very much respect you now for sharing them. It does take guts to do that. A lotof people find it very easy to keep quiet and avoid attracting any sort of attention to themselves. Kudos to you.

i went out tonight. the place i heard so many good things about was all a bunch of posers. got in the pit, and it was a bunch of idiots, lookin to prove how much damage they could give and take. i like the pit, when its all about togetherness, about a bunch of people, moving as a oneness. a mass of humanity. not trying...

when i was young, i fantasized about having a relationship that was stronger even than a desire for life. sid and nancy, bonnie and clyde, romeo and juliet were the stories i idolized. i often told girls, and later, women, that i would die for them. i meant it at the time, but upon reflection, i was a moron. life is for living, not for...

i watched a movie last night with kevin spacey in it. he plays the lead, and it was a pisser of a show, until the very end, and his closing dilouge made the whole thing worth the investment of two hours.
its called "the shipping news", and i whole heartedly recomend everyone see it. if even for the last few lines. its on max, hbo, shotime, tmc, or...

the deal for the new house is plodding along, but it seems like its racing. having rented for so many years, makes owning my own place very scary. plus, i will be giving up my studio, temporarily, which blows. on the other hand, maybe having to hold off on work will give me a new outlook, or even a new direction.

the weather has been...

i think i have figured out why i am unpopular.

people resent that i have my own thoughts and views on issues, and that i will stand by them, and defend them right down to the ground.

also, if your opinion differs from mine, and you decide to tell me, chances are good im gonna poke holes in your theory. more than likely, if you...

Daredevil rocked and it was pretty true to the comic. I loved Kevin Smith's cameo, as well as Stan Lee's.
