As if we hadn't had enough grief with family sickness, my father-in-law now has a blood clot on his lung. I'm pretty gutted and just hope it can be cleared and it won't happen again.
Sam, who is now 17, has gone off to the Isle of Wight festival with three friends, I'm a bag of nerves. He's well known for losing money and more importantly tickets so god knows what's going to happen. Hopefully all will go smoothly, I'll be proved to be a neurotic mother and he'll have a fabulous wet and muddy time. Although.....we are taking bets on them all getting home in one piece, they can be a bit of incompetant bunch.
