It’s my belief that the issues we’re struggling with today are important issues that need to be addressed. Like so many, I can feel a bit overwhelmed by all the different causes but if we each fight for just one, we are making more of a difference than fighting for none of them.

Of course, some of you might say I’m overthinking, or that I...

I knew love as something you saw through,
Like a puppet dancing on strings—
In such bondage empty of virtue.
Do these reflections contain God?
In these faces I see only me,
Not some arcane allegory—some
Intangible mystery, no!
Only the lonesome understand love.

At times I find it hard to recall

The days beyond the fall

The days beyond the fall

The summers flourishing in my mind

Are the days we left behind

But I know I’ll see you again

When the moon rolls the tide back in

When the sun rises to light up your smile

And we find this chapter isn’t final

The trees will be...

I’ve got a couple of songs I’m writing, I believe in the lyrics and I hope I do them justice, if only because they’re so meaningful to me. My aim is to be idiosyncratic in such a way that’s relatable.

That poem that so many of you loved I’m turning in to a song, so that’s one of them. I want to thank you all...

My anti depressant has done so much, I’m so much more stable on it. But there are times when I have struggled lately - those times are times when I’ve forgotten to take it and end up staying up all night. The following day finds me really unstable.

‘The Nomad’s Song’

Gone walking
Through the hills
Across valleys and
Distant meadows
When a madness
Struck me,
Plainly I broke
Clearly I spoke
Gods and Pretenders!
Gods! Must you condemn me?
Pretenders! Must you pretend?
I carry the weight of the world
On my back. For your amusement,
I lose track—of what must be done
Of what must be done.
There must be reason...

I would love to pose nude for a life drawing class. Imagine seeing the finished drawings - the way other artists view your body. I’m fairly secure with my body image, but I’d love to see interpretations.

I think it’s such a beautiful thing when people who aren’t society’s idea of the ‘norm’ decide to accept their bodies and love themselves as they are.

“I hope dear old Lalage finds peace of mind. I hope those dying of despair have something they can hold on to. I know. It makes sense. When you’re holding a knife to your own throat for an hour in the half light of morning the only thing that’s going to make you choose to live another day is hope. So I’ll say it again....

Interesting perspective... you're colorblind when born.

But I've always seen it like this:
Color blind because you can't see the many shades of life; you have a black and white thinking mindset. You see things as either all positive or all negative. Or It's about that lack of diversity and variation that makes an individual's life sustainable. One day you're pure one day you're the...
