Earth’s Song Wanting, but not knowing The light is finding my eyes I speak of nothing more Than the view thro’ a mirror It tells me I see, but there is more Than life ultimately I bring up a world in my thought It tempers the flames within Burning to know this fiction There are no absolutes And I crawl in the midst of a race The love that touched me not; I must learn how to feel it The ink of vespers may illuminate But they have not laid their eyes upon Terrestrial beauty.
