I do it on purpose on some level. I don’t want to make sense, I want to break all the rules, I want to disrupt and confuse. Every mould-breaking performance artist that has come before has done that, alienated themselves from convention. Everybody is so scared to deviate from the norm. Nobody wants to go the hard way, the authentic way. The world needs a villain.
