Evolution is something that happens over generations, we can’t just force ourselves to evolve overnight. It’s also a chemical reaction to our circumstances. For example, in the film Waterworld, man has evolved webbed feet to swim faster. This is something that man evolved in order to survive.
If we’re going to evolve to adapt to the spiritual and psychological challenges that we face in todays world, we’ll have to reach for it which requires a radical overhaul in our attitudes, beliefs and syncretic efforts to unite. This means we will have to not pretend—but throw ourselves into it, more empathy, more acceptance... and above all, more love.
