THURSDAY:
So there I was, riding my bicycle in the pouring rain, on my way home from downtown. I was pumping hard uphill, dreaming of a hot cup o' tea and dreading that night's Spanish class when BANG! I got hit by a car.
One ugly black eye, several bruised ribs and a torn shoulder muscle later, here I am typing this entry. I feel...

Oarrh, ouch, eeek, sorry for you. Hey, did you get the bike to a workshop- when it happened to me, the 2nd time, I got good advice from my brother and got an examination and quote on the bike's repair. Even a small twist can certify it as a right off- out of atunement. I claimed on the van driver's insurance for the lot.
First time I was on my way to Sociology- first ever Seminar of new course. Keep the speed down please XXX

I lived in Portland for a long time and it seemed like I ran into SG Marie EVERYWHERE! And everytime I wondered how the camera does not capture how incredibly beautiful she is in person. She is absolutely stunning. I just thought I would share that with you...

By the way, I miss Portland! frown Haha. wink
the_happy_pig:
Well, I highly recommend you rent that movie. It's just overtaken The Big Lebowski as my favorite movie ever (Which is quite a feat). A lot of people I know really hate that movie, but give it a go (If you like Johnny Depp, westerns and Iggy Pop in a dress!wink)

Well, your description of Portland really kind of makes me sooo happy I'm stuck in the arse end of nowhere. tongue I'll have to try and scrape the money together to visit.

Did I mention I wrote you a testimonial?
kneeco:
Thanks for the glowing testimonial. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I was described as "tolerable". It's the ears isn't it? I know they're a little scary but come on their not that big are they? The XM stations they pick up are pretty cool, some people really dig that. No doubt these huge-amungous things will help hold back the tide of new friends requests your testimonial will surely produce. biggrin SG needs a big ear emoticon for us well endowed members. Thanks again.

Even though I haven't experienced winter here yet, I'm looking foward to it. I love the rain. I was disappointed when I got here in February and it never rained.

What's funny is my Granddad wants me to go down for Christmas to Austin. I don't think I'm going to.

EEk, nice set!
Sure is creepy!

Oh me, oh my.
What a long day. You know that feeling like you've been punched in the stomach, but it is just because you are so tired? Yeah, I've got that.

1. I rode (a la bicycle) about 15 miles yesterday, mostly to go see a show waaaay in another part of the city. It was a good show. Loud, screaming local punk! Then...

Dropped in to say Hello. Texas is the best and maybe you should reconsider. Oh wait I was thinking all of Texas is like Austin...yeah you should probably avoid this place.

RE: Families and such. I went to my family reunion for the first time in years last weekend. Reminded me of why I live 700 miles away...

Lemme know if you want some help kickin' *** for those dogs. *grrrrrr*

I am going through the same thing right now, I have a neighbor who has a chesapeake retriver, he never spends any time with it, the dog id starting to get mean. It really pisses me off, he just leaves him in the back yard all day, or locks him in his basement. It is a really sad situation, the guy is a drunk, I have tried over and over again for the past 2 years, the cops even took the dog once, only for him to show up there again 3 days later.

I really am about ready to swing through town grab that poor dog and load him up in the truck and take him to another city and drop him just so he has a smigon of a chance at a deacnt life. It really makes me sick.
