I'm free 
Yesterday was my last day at work, beleive me that's a good thing. Sure, when I run out of cash it will be bad, but I got a pay off so no worries just yet.
There were about 6 of us leaving, including the prettiest girl in the office. We talked for a bit, for the fist time (our jobs didn't overlap much and she worked on a different floor), and discovered a few things in common. She said that she'd get my email address from another colleague, and keep in touch. It's nice to find a new friend.
As a leaving gift each of us were given: a bottle of wine, a cork screw and some cheese , all wrapped up in a pretty box. I gave mine away to a random stranger as I got off my train on the way home. A random act of kindness that I hope will spread some joy.
