MORNING SG LAND!
So today is a beautiful day in Calgary. I am in my bedroom still in bed editing a set I shot this week for a family. After this I'm taking my mom for lunch and shopping. She's handicapped so I like to get her out of the house and well the woman loves to shop!!!! She had a chiropractor crush her L4 and L5 about ten years ago and hasn't fully recovered. Canada Heath Care isn't as good as you all think, she's been on a waiting list for back surgery for 8 years now, shes been suffering in pain and on heavy duty med's for a really long time. The first two years it happened she couldn't even walk to the bathroom, she was bed ridden and I would push her to the bathroom on our family office chair (it had wheels on it). My family also suffers from degenerative disk disease so her back is already bad. I'm just glad she can walk again (not for long, she can walk about 10 minutes now but needs to stop because of the pain). So she really loves to get out of the house and do things. I also think that is why my family travels so much. We usually rent a electric scooter on vacation so she can keep up.
So on a good note, I created my Model Mayhem account finally! I booked a shoot next week in Calgary already! SO HAPPY! I'm modeling on a western movie set they have here(the shoot a lot of Movies in Alberta and British Columbia). So Hazzard is getting Countrified! JUST IN TIME FOR STAMPEDE! I'll make sure to share some of the shots with you SG'Land!
