What is this date thing you speak of? The concept is foreign to me... (can you tell I've been single a while?) seriously though, I'd say a good date idea would be to do something totally based on the person, that or go for a walk in a nice colourful chunk of town, it will give you lots to talk about, lots of time to talk, and if you find a nice park or anything like that, a nice opportunity for a moment or two of privacy
