I went for a walk in the rain today... attempting to clear my head...

I had no such luck...

My mind is full of random rants and I'm scared shitless of the next step...

I'm trying to think of some wonderful quote to end this on... but nothing is coming to mind. I'm just hoping for sleep and a better day tomorrow.

I'm going to Chicago Tuesday for Columbia's orientation...

So far so good...

I got branded this weekend! Yay! I have a giant star burned into my back! Yay! I love it. It makes me oh so happy...

Hrm... what else? A whole lot of nothing. I'm making mix c.d.'s which is always good... And have a bottle of wine calling my name.

I got the Amittyville Horror boxset for my birthday...

Our basement is super-creepy.

You can open windows and put fans in them. I have a fan in my bedroom window that makes sleeping much easier, and there's another in the front room that will sit in the front window and draw air in. We were going to put the A/C in before Jessica left, but we forgot.

Jessica comes back on the 1st.

Thanks again. I'm so worried about his little heart breaking from loneliness. blush
