So I started going to the gym at the beginning of the week. It was much needed as I took some weight since I moved to Vancouver. I guess that's mostly due to the fact that I'm not practicing any weekly sports like I used to back in Montreal. I used to be playing badminton on tuesdays, Hockey on Thursdays and Volleyball on Fridays. Also, I don't eat too well. I'm being way too lazy about cooking and preparing food so I often end up eating fast food. Chicken wings, chicken nuggets and tempura fish. Or other "put in the oven, wait and eat" type of meals.
Anyhow, I subscribed to Fitness World right next to my work place. It is a bit expensive but, you see...I'm very lazy when it comes to going to the gym. I don't really mind it when I'm there but I'm known to lose interest in doing stuff when there's a certain difficulty in doing it. I'm not saying training is difficult....just that going to the gym is a big effort. Back in Montreal, I used to be going to a gym. All I had to do was get out a couple subway stations early and walk 10 minutes outside. Then winter came and it started snowing. Was I gonna walk 10 minutes in blistering cold and knee deep snow? Hell no...so I ended up not going anymore. So, anyway, that's why I took a gym that was so close to my working place. I have no excuses at all to not go.
So far so good. I've been going every nights since I joined up.
I'm supposed to be getting a "nutrition plan" sometimes next week. I surely hope to get it soon...we'll see how it holds up. I was pretty clear to them that I wasn't a cook and spending 30-45 minutes cooking wasn't an option.
In other news, I'm going to spend the weekend of BC day in Seattle. I haven't been there yet and am really looking forward to see what it looks like. We don't really know what we will be doing over there except for going to see Sick of it All, Terror and Champion at the Graceland. This should be a pretty sweet hardcore show. I always love to see how people act in shows outside of "my scene". I know I was extremely dissapointed at the first 3 shows I attended in Vancouver. The 4th one was really underground and old school hardcore and the kids really gave me some hope back. Anyway, should be an awesome show. I haven't seen SOIA since 2002.
Aside from that...we don't really know yet. Possibly that big music theme park or museum. I don't know what it is exactly. The Space needle tour, some record stores...prolly just walk around downtown and take lots of photos. I'll post some when I come back, most likely!

posh:
i fully agree with you about designing your own tattoo. the next thing i was is an anime catgirl in some kind of a scene on my right shoulder. but i cannot draw in that style at all, so i pretty much have to go to someone to do it.
