I am coming off of a high that was created by a trip to Bermuda for a friend's wedding. My god, it was amazing. Beautiful turquoise waters that felt like swimming in a bath, too many secluded beaches to count, open bar every night (!) and friends I haven't seen in years.
One of the coolest things about Bermuda is that one of the main methods of transportation is scooters, so you rent one and cruise around the island with reckless abandon. I don't think there's any point on the whole island where there is more than one lane for either direction (so, two lanes for each direction). I have some happy memories of cruising back to my hotel late at night, the full moon illuminating the ocean and palm trees.
Ahhhhh, why is life so very hard?
But, now I'm back to the grind, which actually makes me kind of happy also.
