cos i'm all over it

Every argument Ive made in my verve has been tenuous, at best. Todays reminders: Im diminutive, indifferent and ultimately a self-centered and lethargic dupe. Its going to take about another mile walking a line between narcissism and self-doubt before I get anywhere of use to the people I love. Im wearing the hood over my head today to keep the liveliness from getting out, running a wreck and run amok. I probably look like Im about to stumble out of an Abu Ghraib picture. Please dont take pictures.

I suppose the best things I can say about myself today are my wishes. I wish I were altruistic. I wish I felt more trusting, or deserving, or anything when people take an interest in my well-being. A lot of wishing wont make a good revision of me now. Ive been keeping my masks on tight and my mouth out of the drink. Okay, enough self-pity, my apologies if you read through this emoting crap. I'll go back to approaching disappointment with a smile, just nod and wink with me once in awhile.
