In light of the holidays wrapping up, and because I know you only care about pictures of cute things, regular hansel-journal has been made optional to bring you this very special bulletin. Introducing Apple, the amazing Christmas Pekingese:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Well, another Christmas has come and gone. Also, my very first "Boxing Day" has all wrapped up due to this being my first Christmas in Vancouver, BC. Also, of note, is that this is my first so far away from home.

I'm surprised that the only bad part came when I spoke with my sister and my Dad on the phone; they treated me like I had a disease. It bothered me at first, but my Mom called soon thereafter I cheered me right up. I missed my Mom a lot this holiday. She's so enigmatic and such a wonderful hostess for Christmas dinner. We spoke on the phone and it was nice. A good two lessons learned: it's good to be so far away to see who really cares about you and always talk to Mom last on holidays (because she leaves you feeling the best).

I let go a few tears for my Uncle Mike. I miss him very much on every holiday that comes and goes. I wish I wasn't an atheist, so as I could say that I'd see him again some day. Such is life.

I hope you all had a happy Christmas. May your inner Bowie always sing over the elderly.

As far as elderly singing, I know Jarvis helps the aged.

Had a better Xmas eve than Xmas, but it's all been working pretty well lately.

What do those people do on Boxing Day?
