What a day! I went to my friend Julie's show last night in San Francisco and had a blast with her , Mary, Jameel, Mike and Heidi. Her band is called 8th Grader and they're fucking awsome! They're like if George Micheal, Madonna and Prince all went out one night, got roofied and had a baby. That baby would be 8th Grader.
So, we left the city at almost midnight, got back to Santa Rosa at one and Jameel and I proceeded to bar hop. And got really trashed. I got into bed at four and woke up at 8:30. An hour and a half after I had to be at work! The whole day was spent playing catch-up and sucked.
The light at the end of the tunnel came when I got three texts that there was going to be a BBQ at Mary's. Suddenly the world was right. BBQs at Marys' are awsome. So much fun with all my friends! I love them all and I can't imagine how life would be without them.
And speaking of friends, tomorrow is kickball game day! Work is going to drag on real slow. But when it's done, it's fucking ON! I don't care who we play, we're going to kick a lot of ass and get trashed some more! Then we're going to go to The Belvedere and get further trashed.
