I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and is looking forward to the new year.
I took off from both my jobs and took a cruise to the Bahamas.
I've been once before but was super-stoked for the boat ride.
We also had some fun excursions along the way. Most of the pics are on FB so here are just a few.

First, this is the cats' new kitty-condo. Laia, the cow-colored one loves the thing.



I'm on a boat!



Gave away some money.



Drank some dranks.





If anyone is going on a cruise that's never been before here is some advice for you:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)


1. Smuggle on your own booze in flasks. You're allowed one bottle of wine but bring a corkscrew to avoid the "uncorking fee" at dinner.
2. Bring your own mixers for the booze like soda, juice, water, etc.
3. Avoid water slides/mini-golf as those are kid-magnets.
4. Also avoid all pools as those are kid-magnets and just gross.
5. Don't be afraid to order 3 appetizers and 2 entrees at the sit-down dinner.
6. Buddy-up with your room service peeps as they'll keep the ice coming for all your in-room drinking needs.

And yeah, love getting the Timmy's-speak in Starbucks. Makes me want to go through one of their drive thrus and order a triple grande non fat extra hot light foam caramel macchiatto and see what happens.
