I was supposed to work Saturday night but our coordinator never showed up so we went to the lobby and watched Bourne Supremacy with some people who were watching the movie. Then, I couldn't sleep so I stayed up doing pretty much nothing all night.
Yesterday was crazy. I was supposed to go to SAV to hang out with some Germans, one of whom is the Captain of a ship. We were going to leave early in the morning to hang out and have breakfast with them but they called and told us there'd be a delay. So we didn't get out there until about 1. The Georgia Port Auth is CONFUSING! And don't let anyone else tell you otherwise, unless they work there and know the layout to a "T". We finally made it though and we found out Becca's friend was the Captain of a big cargo ship. (They had come from Virginia and before that NY, so we used that as an excuse as to why the ship was about 80 degrees inside.) House, the captain, gave us a tour and we met the Phillipino/Japanese/German crew. We didn't have much time to tour SAV after we had a 3-course meal on their ship, so we just went to River St. to have a beer and walk around. This story is a lot longer than I intended but you see my weekend wasn't a total loss after Sat. night.
Now I've got finals this week that I've barely studied for. I don't think I'll ever graduate!
