Since I have never blogged before, I don't know exactly what I should do. However for most it seems like a nice way to vent and or brag about their life events. Life is hard and having an outlet where you feel people are listening is a good feeling. Probably the reason for Prayer being popular, you get to feel like someone is listening.
I guess for my first go around, like a lot of others I will talk about my background a bit and where my life is right now. Outside of being self-employeed, I am typical for a man my age. 35, divorced, one child (daughter age 8). However some other things are a bit different, and also a bit the same both good and bad. I own a business, a retail store that sells games. It is called Game Links and it is in a small town in Michigan. While that is awesome, sine I am a huge gamer geek, it sucks because I work 90 hours a week and only make about $8,000 per year. Also I am homeless, I couldn't keep my house after the divorce and my business just hasn't grown enough to support me or me and a roommate. So for 2 years now, I have been stuck in a dilemma, give up the best, most satisfying jobs of my life or get a "real" job and stop being homeless. :/ Thankfully I have some good friends that help me out, so I have a bed to sleep in and a shower to use. However it is like being stuck at a camp ground forever, no real home feel.
Don't really know what else to talk about tonight or what anyone would even care about reading. Just figured I should start somewhere and worse case, it gets me talking. I really like the site and the community is very supportive of each other. Figured I would see about settling in and contributing where I can, if not with kind words, at least maybe something worthy of reading.
