People say it is a community and great. Everyone is friendly and nice. You can make friends and the site is SO MUCH MORE than just a nudie site. Yet so far, no friends, no responses to messages and unless you agree 100% that this site "Isn't about the photos" you are just belittled and ridiculed. Outside of my love of photography and nudity I...

I wasn't looking to get anything out of it.  I was paying to support the people that provided work I got for free.  Also I call bullshit because after six months all I have found is insults, harsh language and no response to positive comments.  The few that have responded positively back were for the most part perfunctorily "thank you"s.  On top of that everyone that posts just assumes the worse or outright states my post must mean the worse.  I don't want to be part of a community like that.  It is fine, I have dropped the groups I have joined and will exclude myself from future threads.  Would hate to ruin the site with my unique personality.

Snide comments like that are probably why people find you difficult. That and openly dissmissing members' opinions because they are female and pink. That's just sexist and ignorant. You don't know what our experiences on this site are, and to dissmiss it because you think we have an easy time because our membership is free is so offensive. I've been here for six years and in that time I've had countless messages that are sexist and degrading, I've also had members (both male and female) and fellow SGs be incredibly rude and attack me personally. But so have I at times. It's only been on the last year or so that I've found my "place", but I don't expect to get along with everyone, just like in life. Like I said it's insulting to just dissmiss a persons experience just because you think it's easier for them, which you did, and that' might be why fellow SGs and members got annoyed with you.

My friend Krystal doesn't think she is pretty and couldn't possibly be a suicide girl. I keep telling her how beautiful she is and she just won't believe me. I think we should all show her some love so she can she just how crazy beautiful she is.

She's is definitely a beauty! And I agree that joining the site would be a big help! Hell, I'm still not confident. Lol

I'm now on here! Thanks for the support! I decided to get over it and try to see myself in a real way instead of the way I felt I should see myself.

So I read something funny and I just wanted to share my thoughts. A SG on a forum said "we are not objects dude, we have feelings and you should get to know us." This was in response to a user talking about his collecting of sets he loves. While in the real world we all know girls have feelings and are of course not...

Personally, I don't see it as the objectification of women because that has connotations of being disrespectful and I absolutely respect the women of SG. The way I see it, SGs use their sets to express themselves. It is a liberating experience. The photos are never degrading, they are arty and personal. I like this site because it advocates love of all styles, body types and personalities. The SGs have blogs so members can get to know them. It's true that they can't build personal relationships individually with all members but they can interact with their followers through blogs and group discussions. I love the SG website for the community and the acceptance and freedom of expression it allows.
hallenbeck3:
While that is true and people are welcome to use the site for its social aspect, a LOT of SGs don't blog, don't respond to posts, don't talk to the public hardly any or at all.  So while everyone has their interpretation of the site and why they are here, in the end my point still stands.  It isn't in a models best interest to belittle a paying member because the reason he is here is to collect all the sets or to just stare at naked women without any thought to who they are or what their personality is like.  Believe me, if people had to "get to know" a lot of these models before seeing them naked, this site wouldn't exist.  A lot of peoples' personalities don't mesh and it is better to be objectified and liked for your body when it comes to a site like this.  Otherwise we wouldn't have a set like this.  In the end there will always be differences about the site, however it still boils down to the same simple fact.  Models are putting themselves on display to be viewed and objectified.  If they don't like that idea, they don't have to model.

Since I have never blogged before, I don't know exactly what I should do. However for most it seems like a nice way to vent and or brag about their life events. Life is hard and having an outlet where you feel people are listening is a good feeling. Probably the reason for Prayer being popular, you get to feel like someone is listening.

I agree about prayer. I couldn't say for sure whether or not there is a God, but either way I think it's healthy to pray. To articulate your worries, say them out loud and follow the thought through is helpful and a step towards dealing with your troubles.
hallenbeck3:
If that is what you choose to use it for, I for one always feel like prayer is a waste of time.  To mean it feels silly as I am an atheist.  However I can understand why people feel it is important.  I for one have always talked to my parents, friends, and myself, at least they answer, give good advice and help me when things are down.

After reading a lot of blogs, I am wondering if I should write some each day or each week. Then I wondered, do guys on here blog and do the girls here care to read the male member's blogs. Know it sounds silly, but I haven't noticed hardly any male bloggers here. Granted it is called Suicide GIRLS, but one would think the guys could...

this day sucks. It used to be me ex wife and my anniversery, then my fiancé and my fun anti-commercial valentine stay home "date" night. Now it is just a reminder that I am not happy with my life and wonder if I ever will. Two years and still want to cry thinking about the girl I lost. I hope everyone who has someone stops...
