Happy New Year!!! I'm a little late to the party obviously which makes me realize I've been slacking with my blogs. I only had one entry last year so 2014 really got away from me it appears. I would put together some kind of recap but my memory is not what it used to be lol.
I do know that I saw 20 concerts and 5 comedians last year so that's something. So far in 2015 I've only been to one show (Retox & Whores) but there are plenty coming up that I'm looking forward to:

I'm super pumped to see SOAD again - especially since the last two times they were in town were festival dates and I refused to go (outdoor fests are the worst obviously). I'm also pretty excited to finally see Babymetal too. As gimmicky as the concept might be I can't get enough of their music. I'm actually surprised the Danforth isn't sold out yet but I'm sure it will be a fantastic show anyway.
The fact that I'll be seeing Babymetal in May also makes me bummed somehow that I will never get the chance to see Brand New Idol Society live. They were another J-pop/Metal group that sadly split up last year. BiS were actually much crazier than BM and likely never became as huge as a result.
Lately I've been listening to the band Adventures a lot. They've got a 90's indie sound which is surprising considering the band members were kids at the time and are barely out of high school now.
They also have a metal band called Code Orange that I really dig but their stuff is probably not for everyone.
Anyway it looks like my membership is set to expire next week and I'm on the fence about renewing. I've been on the site for years but I can't seem to find the time for it like I used to. I may take a break for now and see. Look me up on Facebook in the meantime and hopefully I'll see some of you at the TO burlesque tour stop next month.
