It has been just over five months since my last blog entry. I occasionally visit SG because I miss the community a lot. But I never know what I would do. But I honestly do miss the community on here a lot. And I think I want to get back to A lot has changed since I have been on here...
My last post was the day after I turned 21, and was also the second week of me working out and trying to change my lifestyle. Well, time to update from that. I still to this day workout. 5-6 days a week. I do very hard workouts. When I started this lifestyle change in my life, I weighed 210 lbs. Today, I have gained roughly 10 lbs of muscle. So, add 10 lbs to that 210 to make it 220 lbs. But today I weigh roughly 178, give or take. I have overall dropped 32 lbs and still added 10 lbs of muscle. I have gone from a waist size 38 to 33-34. Some 34's are big on me. I wear only Medium sized shirts. From Target though, the brand I wear are Small. It is such an amazing feel knowing that nothing fits me anymore.
I am pursuing a major in Kinesiology. Don't know what that is? It's the science of human kinetics. Dumbed down...it's exercise science. I believe it is a good fit for me. By no means do I want to be a personal trainer for the rest of my life. I want to eventually get my Master's and honestly, get a Ph.D. I want to do something meaningful in this world and I believe I can do it through healthcare. If I ever become an M.D., I will tell you this, I will focus on health through food and nutrition, NOT medicine. I believe that is something that is dragging this country and the world's health down so badly. People look at symptoms of what they have. They never treat the problem, or more importantly, THE CAUSE. The amount of bad health that is caused by poor lifestyle choices among food is horrifying. I can discuss that with whoever would like to on a separate convo though.
On another note, I did experience something fantastic this summer. I went out of the country for a month. I got to visit Peru in South America. I was there with school studying Prehistoric Archaeology. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life to go there and study. I enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait to travel again. There is SO much to tell about it. But, I kept a blog going while I was down there.
My blog from Peru. And if you would like to read about it, please do!
I look forward to being back in this community. I believe it will be good for me. I miss it. I'm gonna go see the forums!

Hey man thanks for the comment and the props. Kinesiology, good stuff! I am currently working on exercise science degree, while working full time, but you gotta do what you need to do to do what you want later in life. Anyway man, keep up the good work, it may seem like nothing is happening but take photos you will see the differences and if you got any questions shoot me an email, ill give you my 2 cents.
