The movie watching experience is a great way to make memories or associate movies with a time in your life or an emotion. So here is the final instalment of this list.

Scavenger Hunt — An eccentric millionaire dies and leave his beneficiaries a boat load of money but they have to compete in a scavenger hunt to see who gets it all.

Serendipity — A cute love story of fate intervening in the lives of a free spirited woman and an all American every man.

Short Circuit — Johnny 5 is alive.

Sidekicks — A Karate Kid knockoff starring Johnathan Brandis, Mako, Beau Bridges and Chuck Norris. I liked this one more than The Karate Kid because Daniel annoyed me in The Karate Kid.

Sleeping With The Enemy — Julia Roberts stars in this tour de force of a thriller about a woman escaping her psycho husband. I still get the creeps when I hear Symphonie Fantastique (- Dream of a Witches’ Sabbath) outside of this movie.

The Slipper And The Rose — Yet another take on the Cinderella tale but this one is a sweet musical from 1976 starring Richard Chamberlain and Gemma Craven.

Something Borrowed — A love story of unrequited love tangles all involved.

Sorority Wars — Lucy Hale (of Pretty Little Liars) stars as a college freshman who gets mixed up in the world of sorority drama.

Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home — Aka the one with the whales. This is my personal favourite of the original six movies. It’s an endlessly quotable adventure of what can go wrong when humans wreck the natural order of things.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture — The first of the original six movies. It is slower moving but overall it is still an interesting tale of what happened to the items we sent out into space.

Steel Magnolias — A very beautifully sad story that shows the bond of friendship through all the hard times life can throw at you. I always wanted a group of friends like this. I am either Clairee or Ouiser and I’m okay with this.

Stepmom — The struggles of parenting from two households get more complicated when the dad gets remarried.

Stop! Or my mom will shoot — Sylvester Stallone and Estelle Getty star as a cop and his overbearing mother who wind up on a case together.

Super Mario Brothers — Even though it’s terrible it’s one of those so bad it’s good movies.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street — Either the stage play version starring Angela Lansbury and George Hearn from 1982 or the movie from 2007 starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are both exceptional versions of this twisted revenge tale.

Tank Girl — Speaking of so bad it’s good. Lori Petty stars in this action comedy based on a graphic novel of the same name.

Theodore Rex — Another so bad it’s good Whoopi Goldberg leads this buddy cop movie with her dinosaur partner.

This Means War — Two best friend spies fall for the same woman and fight for her love all while keeping some bad guys at bay.

Topkapi — A heist film from 1964 about the theft of a dagger.

Tower Of Terror — Steve Gutenberg and Kirsten Dunst star as an uncle and niece that get entangled in a 50 year old ghost story. The tower of terror ride at MGM / Hollywood Studios tells the ghost story in the movie.

To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything; Julie Newmar — An all star cast comes together in this madcap adventure of three drag queens trying to get to a major event in LA.

Trapped — Charlize Theron and Kevin Bacon star in this thriller of what would you do to save your child.

Tron and Tron: Legacy — The 2010 sequel to the 1982 original finally finds out what happed to Kevin Flynn. You could watch it on its own or with the original first.

War Games — Would you like to play a game with this computer?

Weekend At Bernie’s 1 and 2 — The story of a guy who just won’t stay dead. The sequel takes the zaniness to 11.

We’re Back A Dinosaur Story — This animated adventure from 1993 shows just what could happen if dinosaurs were brought to our time.

What’s Your Number? — A romcom starring Anna Faris and Chris Evans answers the question of how many partners is your lucky number?

Wild Hogs — Four friends who have a motorcycle riding club get into a lot of shenanigans while out on a road trip across the country,

With Six You Get Eggroll and Yours, Mine and Ours — A widow and a widower fall in love and their kids must deal with he new living situation. The only difference is Eggroll has less kids. Eggroll stars Doris Day and Brian Keith and YM&O stars Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda.

Zathura— Jumanji in space.

As an added bonus to this list I am putting in the horror movies I don’t mind watching over and over. In no particular order they are:

Scream (first two only), Battle Royale, Alien (first two), Predator (first two), The Car, Idle Hands, Interview With The Vampire, Krampus, Lake Placid, Leprechaun, Life, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Childs Play (the whole series), Dead Snow (the whole series), A Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday The 13th, Halloween (the original series of movies), The Purge (the whole series), Prom Night (remake or original), Severance, Hollow Man, House Of Wax (remake), Urban Legend (full series), Us, Get Out, Ginger Snaps (full series), The Cell, Cabin In The Woods, Sorority Row, Trick ‘R’ Treat, The Covenant, Carrie, Christine, Valentine, Tremors (the whole series even though it gets more ridiculous each time), The Fog, Final Destination (just the first three), When A Stranger Calls (original or remake), Tucker And Dale VS Evil, The Craft, 13 Ghosts (original or remake) and Arachnophobia.

So that’s my little trip down the red carpet. All I need now is popcorn and something to drink. Hope you enjoyed my movie collection tour. I barely scratched the surface of what I own but I just haven’t watched them yet.

I hope you find a new favourite from my collection. Let me know if you do. Also tell me some of your favourites so I can add to my collection.

Stay safe!

XOXO Gyidge
