I'm back in the library after a fine week of nothing but food and friends and loads of DVDs. I saw "Strangers With Candy" for the first time ever and am totally hooked. It's genius.
Maybe not genius, but damned good.
I really hit the wall with the ephedrine the weekend before Thanksgiving. I had been popping them a little too freely to the point where I was simply unable to sleep at all. The craziest night was when I was visiting a friend whose parents drink red wine from 5 PM until around 1 in the morning. I swear I must have put away two whole bottles myself but I didn't feel the least bit drunk. That's way fucked up.
So we won't be doing any more of that for a while. The withdrawl wasn't so bad--I was edgy and distracted for about half a day, but then I felt fine.

oh this cake with the toy baked in sounds fantastic.
& not being able to sleep sounds hardcore and romantic - to those people who have never been through it.
