Had an excellent weekend at the National Book Festival down in DC. A friend of mine who works at the Library of Congress invited me down for it and we made quite a whoop it up. We got to hang out in the "Authors Tent" where I got to see Joyce Carol Oates in person AND the Keno Brothers from Antiques Roadshow.
Then there was a fine cocktail party Saturday night that spilled into a great restaurant, then back into John's apartment into the wee hours.
Not so well rested, but it's time to get to work.
