Fantastic 4th weekend. I went to see Psychic TV play the Bowery Ballroom last Saturday. I can think of no better way to celebrate America than attending a show by Genesis & Co. He looked a lot better than I was expecting and the background video showed his recent surgeries. They played Roman P. and Godstar, which are my favorites from that period. Some of the things I didn't know were really quite good, but some of it was pretty dull.
All in all, an excellent time. M. Gira opened, but I listened from the bar downstairs. I was in the mood for upbeat PTV frenzy, and Gira was just the opposite. Excellent though it was, it just didn't float my boat that night.
Nothing on the horizon but serious relaxation.
