well its been a long time since my last blog post! things have been pretty hectic to say the least. I am coming to the end of my course finally and there are so many things to do! I spent the entire weekend fuelled by caffeine and hammering away at the keyboard, must have churned out somewhere in the region of 20,000 words about management theory and communications that to me don't even apply to the real world but are like repeated by mantras by going nowhere middle management types. How they even think they can apply this crap to someone's ability to navigate a ship across the ocean I'll never know.
Still got a bit of work to do this week, churning out more crap to pad out some project work done while I was away at sea but hopefully that shouldn't take long.
Next week I do a 2 week short course about the satellite distress system we use at sea that should finish with me getting my operators licence. After that 4 weeks of solid study for my final exam and then freedom! I can't wait!!!!!
