so much snow...
i really have to get out of here. boston, that is...too damn cold, and i'm getting too damn old to deal with it.

all of this weather has reminded me of a wonderful urban legend which has recently re-captured my imagination. it seem that a few decades ago in the Klondike some folks found some large masses of ice (no surprise there) that were riddled with tiny burrowed tunnels. these people hypothesized that the tunnels were made by a special (and so far undiscovered) type of worm that lived in the ice. this delightful scenario has been the inspiration for a new piece of music of mine, sensationalistically entitled "Ice Worms Of The Klondike!"

maybe it's not the story...maybe i just like the word "Klondike" for some reason...

sorry (really, and truly) that i haven't been paying attention to your journals, and havent been leaving my trademark vapid comments in reply. besides recording my album i'm working on a big and tight deadline to write and record music and create all of the sounds for 2 video games. after next week i should be breathing a little easier, and you will hear from me.

that's a threat AND a promise.
