SG Burlesque in Boston last night...and it was great. So many wonderful people! And the chance to meet my SGCT friends WelnTaod, Elbereth and King_Of_Skulls, plus an added bonus: AmazonRed13 in person. And they are as amazing as I suspected.
It was heaven to meet Amethystula & mOuse, and see so many of my SG Boston friends: Sid, Quiescence, Blondie, gasmaskboy, Pip, Chugo_Kaze, Catch & XrevolverX, Su, of course (!) and some I'm sure I'm inadvertently forgetting to mention.
The show itself was a lot of fun...and the performances were top notch. It was all a little naughtier, and a little more over the edge than last time. Some of the routines were much more fantasy oriented: plumbers with plungers (HOT!!), the "older" woman seducing the younger, a bit of bondage and seductive gunplay, gothly fetish fun, and of course, chocolate. Lots of chocolate. I sensed a dramatic improvement in the quality of the whole event, with extra special kudos to Pearl and her outstanding hula hoop performance. Didn't get to see as much of Sid as I would have liked...she was busy as a stage hand during the show.
Took some pictures...they're in my pics section. I abided by the rules, so there aren't any inside the venue until all of the stage performances were done. So, a few before and a few after.
All in all, a loverly night was had! If you were there, hope you had as good a time as I did, and if you weren't, sorry you couldn't make it. Please take my advice and see the show when it comes to your town.
