I heard this song on little steven's underground garage (sirius) and when the dj said their name I got all "what the fuck?" so I went to find a video to send along to you and in my search low and behold they are from Austin. At first I thought, hey maybe it's a continuation of Mother Trucker or something, but then I found that the band moved to Austin from the bay area. If not some $$$ maybe a lawyer could make a settlement that involved a couple dates with a certain member...




Also, I'm not sure what TwelveTone is talking about, but assuming CG is Guitar center, one of my fave bands, The Oblivians has a song called "guitar shop asshole". not their best song, but I like the sentiment.

where did you see Tom Waits? someone i work with went to the dallas show and said Tom ordered the a/c turned off and closed all the bars before he came on. i think i might have taken issue with that.........

well, the guy who told me that is pretty much an idiot, and i do agree that a bunch of drunk douchebags yelling shit out would be a downer. those people suck at every show

Nope, no post. If everything works to plan I'll be taking my diesel pickup with the bike in the back. If things don't work out I'll be taking the bike solo.

Sorry if I get heavy at times in my posts. I just wanted to acknowledge a lot of the good that's still left in the world, even if it was only to remind myself.

I'm not diggin this Bassman. It has 3 volumes: Muffled, Loud, and Too Loud. I haven't talked to that guy in Dallas yet cuz right now I don't have the money for it. Could he fix that problem though?

He did leave a mark - and some incredibly ugly guitars. I never understood how someone so great could have so bad taste.

cool, glad to see it moving along nicely. Gonna take the thruxton to the drags tonight, I'll post about results this weekend. the only stock time I could find was in a magazine test, it ran a "corrected" 13.36. I'd be tickled pink if mine will run an 11.99. A couple weeks ago I had a big homer simpson "doh" moment. when I bought the wrecked bonnie I checked to see if both rear sprockets were the same, and I'm absolutely sure I counted teeth on the fronts also. apparently I counted wrong because I found out online that the bonnies have one less tooth in front, so I went out and re-counted both. yup, sure enough - free upgrade. I gotta remember to to watch the tach tonight, since I'm used to high revving bikes I run straight into the limiter all the time on the thrux.

OK. But It may not be till later tonight. But yeah, I would like to know more about it.
