Me too. blackeyed Too much chaos and too little food and sleep have all put me on the verge of tears. Got home tonight wishing I had a punching bag, but I know I'd not have the energy to punch it. It didn't help, yesterday, when someone who doesn't understand the chaos asked me how I was doing. I hadn't said the words aloud to anyone and I started to answer. I guess he saw tears welling up. He said, "Wait. Nevermind if you're just gonna start crying."

Probably for the best, nothing like telling someone about how you're really doing, only to realize you've forgotten they are someone who has no grasp on the subject matter which makes you feel it.

Wow. I think that last part makes no sense whatsoever.

You have no idea how many times I've used that line in my life. 99% of the time to people who have no clue what I'm talking about.

You rock! wink

i named a geocache i placed "The Toecutter Cache" because i was watching that movie a bunch that weekend and I passed by loads of atv'ers with helmets and facemasks...

i really wish mel gibson would at least try to make another mad max movie... a good one would get him off my fundamentalist shitlist.

Awesome! Seriously though, do yourself a favor and read the book if you haven't already. It makes an incredible partner to the series. So much rich backround on all the men, before and after the war. The chapter on what happened to everybody afterwards will seriously bring tears to the eyes.

Nope, all work today. Possibly tomorrow evening. If I'm on my bike I never notice the cruiser crowd. My drive to work is along the closest "scenic day ride" for vegas. It's really only when I'm stuck in a truck behind the two-wheeled recliners going 5 under the limit that I get all bitchy about 'em smile

Nice. For Christmas my sister got me a documentary on the history of the TT. There's some unbeleivable footage filmed for newsreals in the 30's & 40's.

Today was my first day on the prednisone, and true to form I can't sleep.

I hiked several miles today, trying to stay ahead of my incredible exploding gut.

Oklahoma finally got rain tonight. It's been some time, and there are huge blackened patches all over the place.

I'm on a Gillian Welch kick tonight:

I started stitching the patches to my leather last...

I read about the V12 motor. I bet it does sound good.

I remember driving mom's Zephyr 4 cyl., back in the day. The transmission wasn't much either, but it took a few (hundred) neutral drops. I couldn't kill it. And oh, how I tried.
