It's a bummer that things didn't turn out as expected, but you'll turn out just fine.
You need to learn things the hard way because they're more likely to stick to you than if you were to just read about it or hear about it from someone.
Here's something that I've been trying out for impact-reduction of disappointments in my life: not expecting much (if anything at all) out of people or things in my life. I don't get disappointed, and if something I were normally to expect, is "fulfilled," then it's a pleasant surprise that I'll enjoy until whenever.
I'll stop ranting now.

Certainly! Evergreen (lunch only), Sage's, and Coffee Under the Bridge all have all vegetarian menus. Cafe Trang, Mi La Chi, Cafe Shambala and Taj India all have great vegetarian selections as well.
