On November 28th, 2008 I became the happiest man in the world. I became a father and nothing would have made me happier. That good news was soon brought to a halt when the doctors did an exam on my son. All of his major organs had cysts on them and was forcing them to shut down. They couldn't do anything to stop it and...

This may turn into some what of a rant, but here I go..
Since I was 16 I have always taken my dad to all of his doctor appointments at the veterans hospital. Each time ive taken him he apologizes to me and says he doesn't want to be a burden. I've explained that I not only love being able to be there for him,...

This sort of thing is on my mind often these days. I've been in some turmoil over whether or not to join the military myself, but I keep coming back to how much damage it would do to my family if anything happened to me, and I just can't square that with myself.
It's very sad that fewer people remember the sacrifices of the people who came before us, considering none of us would be able to live our lives like we do, had it not been for them. I have the utmost respect for those people and what they did should never be forgotten or belittled.

Yeah it's just sad to see that the people who risked their lives for their country are getting treated the worst. More veterans die each year waiting for medical treatment than the number of soldiers killed in action. I just hope one day that will change.
Early this morning I had an amazing talk with my dad. I was walking around the house and saw him sitting in the dark, he was trying to hold back everything he was feeling. We talked about loss & grief. In my life i've only seen my father cry 3 times. The first time was at my grandmother's funeral. The second time was when I...

Well recording got cancelled for the night. The producer got locked out of the studio. Here's to hoping I can find some time to record my song before the 28th.
Finally after several months I've managed to book some studio time for later today. This will be the last song I actually record. I've notice I have more fun with the writing than the recording. The first song I wrote and recorded was about my kids and my last song will be for my kids as well. I will be releasing it on their birthday...

I can already tell the next few months are going to be really tough. just hearing the words daddy please dont go, dont leave me in a movie made me burst into tears. I miss my babies more and more each day, but all I can do is hold on to that one good memory and hope that it's enough. Every year around this time...

Man bro; I hope things get better for you. Just reading your blog was giving me the blues
Today another person decided it was their civic duty to demand me to stop making rap music. In their words, "A boy like you could do so much better than that junk." Well I have only one thing to say to all those people who think that. Your words may be true, I might be better if I stick to another genre, but I love...

People keep asking me about you every day. They ask where did you go, why arent we friends anymore, why am I not angry with you anymore. To tell you the truth im not mad at you, im mad at the choices you made so selfishly that kept me from my one true dream, because of you I never got to see my son or...

For the past few years my life has felt like it was missing something. One simple thing that kept a key peice of myself locked deep inside. Today I found that part of me again. I found my voice. I used to sing all the time, but after past events even when I did sing it was never my own song or my own voice....

Yesterday my dad's computer totally went to hell. He was bummed cause that's his outlet, so to cheer him up I went out today and got him a new one as an early Bday present. Since I set it up for him he has yet to leave his chair XD.
