Finally I decided to quit being a lazy ass and went to the gym yesterday morning. I'm starting off slow because it's been years since I last worked out, but im about to be 21 and I soo shouldn't weigh 279 Lbs. Granted my change in diet has helped me lose some weight because last summer I was hovering around 304, I'm just tired of being in pain. Hopefully if I get back into shape it will help ease some of the pressure from my back and my knees at least a little bit. I started off my workout by running 2 miles and as a chain smoking asthmatic I felt elated to do even that much. After that I Worked on strengthening my core and back muscles.

I don't know if it was because of working out or what, but my creativity has been flying through the roof. I was listening to Gnarls Barkley's Who's gonna save me soul and inspiration struck me.



Instead of working on another rap song i'm trying my hand at a blues/rock piece called Save Me. I'm going to try and get a friend of mine to perform on the guitar and another to work on the piano. Maybe it will flourish and maybe it won't, but i'm having fun writing again and that's all that matters. It's been so long since i've sang this much and it just reminds me of all the hours spent in choir trying to perfect a new piece. I'm excited, on edge, nervous as hell and couldn't be happier.
