My mom drove all the way up from SLO county to deliver a homemade chocolate cheese cake for me.
Then we went downtown and walked around... she commented that it was too bad we didn't have a chilly overcast day because we could have gotten hot chocolate next to Bookstore Santa Cruz.
Apparently I inherited my love of grey days. Soon enough we should have plenty to go around.
Last night I went to the new restaurant above the Red Room for the first time since they finished the remodel. It turned out really well, and of course with Christian pouring the best cocktails in town they're going to do well.
Anyone else been up there? Anyone else think it feels a little like the bar from The Shining?

How are you sir? I finally found a table of econ terms useful for people like you, KtKate and TFOK, but also useful for econ newbies too. Unfortunately there are a couple hundred terms and none of it is online...I guess I will start this weekend and see where I end up.
