UCSC is apparently going to allow students who were accepted, but elected to attend other schools which have now been destroyed, to register late for classes.
At least that's what the people in my vanpool who work for admissions said. Apparently they've had about 80 (who knew we had so many people apply and then truck off to the South?) inquiries from displaced students.

Ummm, yeah I wish there was exciting news to update about. It looks like I'll keep working on campus for about one more year... I'm now officially Non-represented Professional Support Staff. Which means I don't have to participate in any of the strikes.
