********Deep Space Log- 5th Entry**********
I am recording this in real time- I am in the waste shaft of Cargo bay 3. It is the only way in- I have 25 minutes before garbage disposal procedures begin and I'll be thrown into space.
Whatever I achieve, I must leave within 20 minutes.
I have lost all control of the ship- It seems to be steering itself.
SOS Transmissions were made in the direction of the solar system up ahead, but to no avail.
I must enter Cargo bay- it is the only way out of the bridge and into the Mainframe Computer Control Room.
I shall report again tomorrow.
Providing that all goes well...

The familiar red glow of emergency lamps lit the holding cell.
"Damnit! They made the jump!" Holden thought to himself as he struggled to sit upright. The explosion inside his chest made him reconsider as he felt his body give out and slide back down onto the floor.
"Your ribs are broken Captain," he heard Tigra's familiar growl in his ears. He opened an eye and saw the furry face of his medical officer, tail twitching behind her in worry. Holden let out a heavy breath; it felt like three rondack slugs were sitting on top of him. He turned his head and another familiar voice rang out inside the chamber, "Well, they jumped. Probably back to their home space. What are we going to do now?"
The voice of his first officer did not sound pleased, of course that was not much of a surprise, Brenna never sounded pleased. Sure, they had been in worst spots before, like that time on the Third Spinder Moon, but for some reason the desperation of the task at hand seemed overwhelming. This wasnt an ordinary mission, they werent out there to turn a cheap raid, or smuggle contraband to the Devolrian miners on Gramma Seven. If the rumors of the time holes and loop portals out beyond in the uncharted reaches were true, and they wanted to rescue Grooverider, they were going to have to get out of this holding cell soon.
Holden thought for a minute and then suddenly it just came to him. Why hadnt it come to him before he thought; maybe a good ass kicking was what he had needed to clear his head, get the cobwebs out and start thinking like a proper villain again. There was only one way to get back on track, only one way to get back to the sector where Grooverider has disappeared. And if he wasnt mistaken, it was going to be from a page right out of Grooveriders own book of achieving the impossible. Just like that time back in the academy, when he watched Grooverider win the sloop race on a flaming sled whose turbo thrusters had given out.
Holden sat up, the pain from his ribs screamed out and he could see Tigra and Brenna cringe from the loud audible cracking sound they made. New plan ladies, Holden announced, were commandeering this ship.
Youre out of your mind, Brenna scoffed, Tigra, check for brain damage.
Holden struggled to his feet Its simple ladies. Grooverider had to have fallen through a time hole, and if were going to follow him, were going to need a pretty heavy ship. This ship to be precise.
Time hole? Brenna shouted. No one is even sure if those exist! Not to mention the logistics of taking over a Gramerian star liner with a crew of at least eighty, the fact that were in a holding cell, the others may be dead, youre hurt, and once we get to the bridge not a single one of us can read Gramerian to work the controls!
Right, Holden answered, we better get started.
