this day job is turning the contents of my brain into a heap of mashed potatoes.
mmmmmmmm- mashed potatoes!
being part dutch i'm partial to anything potato- especially when it's all mashed and buttery!
ok- i was about to discuss film soundtracks, but that's a rather depressing subject for me and we ARE trying to lighten things up following the recent slope i've been on, so- let us discuss instead another interesting topic-
:ahem:
Surprise bits in the end of movies after the credits- or as we call them in the Groove Institute - SBITEOMATC's.
oh, come on- you know, when the credits finish and theres a surprise bit in the end?
like in ferris buellers day off or ghost world
well, i really digem- i think they should be in every movie!
SO-
your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to make up such an ending to one of the following movies-
1. citizen kane
2. apocalypse now
3. seven
make them good ones please!
ill try to add one of my own later this week.
oh yeah- for those of yous who dont know- i have no web access during weekends as i do not own my own computer
thats why i wont post until Monday, unless i go to an internet caf- so, know that i miss you and am thinking about yall 24/7.
well, maybe not 24/7 but definitely 17/9.
Have a good weekend kids!

:close up on the dude that dies in the spagettie... as the camera slowly moves in he laughs through the spagettie and raises his head, "i can't" hahahah... like it's been like the 50th take and he's laughed on every one... lol.
ok, maybe it was funnier in my head...
re:
eat in raleigh? 'blech' nothing. i moved here from chicago where you could eat at a different place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day for years and rarely eat at a bad place. here it's all suburb food...
as far as where to hike? hmmmm.... the mountains are amazing but a bit cold right now, and the peidmonts are leafless... i go hiking/backpacking quite a bit though and i think that if i wanted to be warm there are some sweet trails that i've heard about in arizona that go to the worlds largest (or maybe just coolest) natural bridge/arch. its some kind of apache spiritual area so there are special things you have to do when you pass it as part of your agreement for getting access... right now in North Carolina its kina wet and cold, so i'd wait to come here. i hear there is pretty sweet hiking in florida, but it's all pretty much swamps and ocean inlets. maybe try the warm areas outside of San Francisco or in southern Nevada...
don't get me wrong though... NC is beautifull. the trails and mountains 4 hours west of here is whats keeping me from finding a job somewhere with a better place to live.
Shinji actually kills Asuka, because she's a whiney bitch.
I'm also prone to potatoes, being an Irishman. I've gotta have 'em with green onions though.
