my yesterday...........

i'm up.

...........these manic, manic days are devastating in the end. no matter what side of the emotional coin you finish on.

i had the worst five minutes of my career yesterday. all these doors that were open, suddenly were shut to me. important doors. really nicely crafted, hugely important doors. doors of such majesty and weight....yes i know, i give doors too much power in my life.

all is not lost, but much that was there has so gone the way of the do-do. one horse is still running. she's got legs and, yes folks, she's got a little bit of hustle left in her.

beneath the panic and the frustration, there still lies a thin layer of moronic optimism that keeps me trudging along like an ox against the storm. for now, i'll label that a good thing.
