heh, but really, i'm working on it...but on the other side of the computer here, all my closest friends moved away within two weeks of eachother and i'm stuck here in NC, alone and virtually friendless except for an elite few who have stuck by me...so i'm nurturing the friendships i have...and besides, finding new friends would require me to leave the house, which isn't something i'm too keen on at this point in time

Lately Ive been getting the bug to go skydiving again.
There really is nothing like it and if you have never done done it...it's very hard to explain it to you just how exhilarating it is. I can tell you this much though. It is an adrenaline rush like nothing else.

you say you like older country stuff--have you ever gotten into Bob Wills and the Texas playboys? I fuckin love that shit, he's the originator of western swing and that shit sounds just as modern today as it was back then. I think I lot of punk/indie rock kids could really appreciate that shit.
Other than some contemporary rockabilly stuff I'm not into roots music much. I appreciate bluegrass, in the sense that I understand why someone would like it, but as much as I've tried I just can't get into it. I think much of it is either too slow or it moves too fast. either way it doesn't hold my interest for long.
