Wow, It has been a year and a half since I last straightened my hair and let me tell you. Even with a Chi it got ugly fast. Apparently I forgot how to use a flat iron, which needless to say made things a bit harrowing. I am pretty sure I lost most of my hair. Though I have a great detangler, unfortunately I lack a brush so I still have some afro ends to straighten out.
