grayness

I'm awake, and moving on-
What was here will soon be gone.
For as some Greek and his advice
I can't step in this river twice-
Or maybe even once.
For who will dare to say they know
How fast this stream of time may flow?

On Modern Creativity

In truth, in time, it's all been said
Turned twice over, left for dead-
Beaten, broken, battered, bruised,
Tangled,twisted- and confused.
What? The plot! Noble story line,
With ancient roots, of blood divine,
That's given birth to grand epics-
But now gives rise to Saw the sixth.

I don't like a thing I write
At least not now and that is right
When I must face this space of white-

It just isn't going to work, tonight.

So why is it I'm still awake?
This can't be good, for goodness' sake!
But I can't let my weekend end;
For then Monday has beginned...
Or more correctly, "has begun",
But either way, it just ain't fun.

And back to one
So now let's see...
I was at three, but now I'm one
No further on than when begun.
I'll start again, and...

So, I finished As You Like It this weekend, and I am working on The Merry Wives of Windsor.
Other than that, nothing much.

I *so* wish it were still the weekend. Oh well, one day down.

... but I saw it tonight.

It's not that hard, if you know where to look, and don't wait very long after sunset to start looking (there should still be a glow, but the color should have faded, based on my experience tonight).

So... I've seen the last planet that I can see without a really serious telescope.

... and now for something completely different...

No Mercury tonight.

Rain.

And work.
