Ok, questions to this point in the Month of Study...
Answer any, all, or none, as you like, at any point.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

My questions so far have been

If you could instantly be granted one talent or skill, what would it be? One realistic and one complete fantasy answer cheerfully accepted!

and

If you had to be haunted by a ghost, tell me about the ghost by which you would be haunted.

and

What cartoon character would you like you are most like, and why?

and

A plain box, two feet long, one foot wide, one foot high, arrives in your mail. There's no return address, but it's definitely addressed to you. It gives you no reason for alarm, so you decide to open it. What's inside?

So, to the vet yesterday with Fearless, to get another glucose curve done, to see how the insulin is doing in treating his diabetes. The news is good, in a lot of ways. The low point on the curve was down in normal ranges this time; the high point was still (quite) too high; they did a blood chemistry check and that looked good.
So now I will be doing shots twice a day, smaller dose each time, larger (by 50%) overall dose per 24 hour period.

I don't think I've mentioned it, but I really like my new vet. She's a serious sweetheart, as well as impressing me as knowing her stuff and having a solid approach to matters. She had to leave to pick up her daughter before I could pick up Fearless (it's an all-day stay on the glucose curve), but she called me later yesterday evening,- despite obviously having quite the handful with the daughter going on. Generally, she pretty much rocks.

Ok, I was lazy today, and slept in until 4. This means I better get my butt onto studying- it's a review day, no new ground, just refreshing my memory on Collections- things like lists and sets and maps and queues. Those are actually some of my favorite things from this pretty awesome Java language I am learning.

Ok, off to get it done!

Question:
Pick a figure from history. Pick one major event in their story. Tell how you would do things differently, and what the result would be.

Later, folks...

Okay, I answerd the first.
The ghost I would like to be visited by would be a deceased friend. I would like to know why he did it/if he regretted it and mostly if he was now happy and had found the peace he was looking for. Which I very much hope.

Cartoon charcter..now that's difficult....... I love quite a few cartoons but wouldn't like to be any of them per se! I would probably go for....well no....maybe.....mmmmnope.....I've thought really long about this now and I really don't know. I think I would just have to make me into a cartoon instead...is that aloud? blush

*gasp* some lovely SG member has sent me something off my wishlist...a pair of shoes. Oh my, and it isn't even my birthday yet. kissy kiss!!! What shall I send him/her back to thank him/her surreal wink

I'd let Jesus live.

I'd be the Grinch, because he finally comes around and learns to value the things around him for all they are worth.

Box- A year's supply of mallowmars.

Glad your kitty is going to do better with the shots. Poor thing. The vets must love you too. You've probably kept them in business. You should have a wing dedicated to you. The east wing, where the sun rises.
