So, here's my news:
Tomorrow morning I take Jacket (Mama Kitty) and Bob in for radioactive iodine treatment. They'll be in a week, which is the bad news. The good news is that when they come home, they don't have to be isolated, and I don't have to worry about their litter being radioactive waste. The other good news is that it looks like Mama Kitty is not diabetic. Not sure what caused the readings that made it be suspected, but whatever the cause, it seems to be gone.
If this weren't regarded as a very effective and permanent cure, and necessary for them to be well in the long term, I don't know if I'd do this... but it is, and it is, so...
Good thoughts will be appreciated.
Still studying Java. Wrote an interesting little program that I'll tell all of you about, later.
