Topic for today: Thoughts on motivational speaking
I always wanted to play a serious team sport when I was a kid. I actually did do track, and fencing, but those don't qualify, because... well, in both cases, pretty much it was show up, do your best, work together, and you're on the team.
No, I wanted a sport with a mean, slave-driving coach who berated and belittled his players, and I just never got that.
Why, you ask, did I want that...?
Well, one simple reason: I wanted to have a coach who would say that saying. You know the one-
"There's no 'I' in team."
I was so ready for that:
(1) "Yeah, coach, but if you take me out of team, all you've got left is T&A."
(2) "Well, maybe so, but without I, a Saint could become Satan."
(3) "Yeah, but if you're in a team, you're meat... just a little different."
Sadly, I never, to this day, have had the opportunity to zing these off. So take these, my friends, and go armed into the world of aphorism-spouting idiots. After all, we're a team.

They are pretty clever though - nice work
