so, father's day.
went up and cooked dinner for the padre (and got his girlfriend to pay for the $120 in groceries for the meal) yes - $120 in groceries for one meal.

what on earth did i prepare you ask?

stuffed mushrooms and seafood risotto with asparagus. it was awesome. i love to cook so much, but i rarely get the chance, as i don't know how to cook for one person, nor do i know how to cook inexpensively (like cook a real meal. i know how to make mac and cheese and shit like that, but i never really call that a true "meal")

but yeah, it was fun. everyone fuckin' loved the food, and dad was thoroughly surprised and happy with his gift.

and i got offered a promotion at work today to what is basically a crew manager position. (this is worht note as it's a buck fifty an hour more, and i'm the newest guy there, yet already ready to be promoted. that's right, i rock... and they're desperate.)
