Something very strange happened when I was driving home this afternoon. A deer came out of the woods and ran right in from of my car. Thats nothing out of the ordinary it happens all the time around here. What made this particular occurrence so weird was that the deer was nearly totally white. I dont think it was a true albino I believe I...

how's it going with the procrastination abistinance? Now there's a phrase you don't get to use everyday! (which is why it is quite possibly spelt terribly!)
Hope you're out "enjoying the last of the summer" over there... where has the year gone!? I was just walkingbhome and seing leaves on the ground and realising how late in the year it has suddenly got... it always seems to sneak up on me!
have fun over there

Oh, I don't know about that. Here's a MCC member (Marylebone Cricket Club who own and run Lords) with a keen eye for the non-stop action................

Your support and best wishes are always gratefully received. I want to thank you for always taking the time to read my blogs, and give me such excellent feedback.
People in companies like mine are in an invidious position. We are not poverty line crisis cases. We are not living on less than $2 a day. Far from it. Salary wise, we get paid a good wage to do a highly specialised job. And yet.....to spend your days constantly looking over your shoulder is no way to live. Thanks again. And all the best to you - I hope you are getting out and about on the trails.

Yes, I started as an Admin Assistant, down at the bottom. You don't forget your roots, do you? I do, on occasion, leak material to the union. Particularly on potential site closures in the UK. A lot of my old colleagues could be impacted by one of them.
Anyway, thanks again. And all the best for your Manhattan trip! I went walking on Sunday (I will post the pics when I get the chance).....and I got a little climbing in

Absolutely. I'll post something as soon as I know what I'm doing. The only problem might be if I'm available and I don't hear back from you by Monday morning at about 8. I gave youy my phone # a while back. I'll pm it to you again if you don't have it anymore, so you can call me during the day, since I'll be im my program and won't have access to SG.
Of course, it will be a moot point if I'm able to work at my friend's club that night.

did the camera ever turn up!?
It rained for most of the past week. I managed to walk or hike six out of the last seven days, but the weather has been too unpredictable to do much else. Monday was more of the same 40% chance of rain with thunderstorms predicted in the afternoon. I took the opportunity to drive into New York with my friends anyway.

Wow, I just got a little blast from the past. My grandparents lived in manhattan when they were alive. We could see the brooklyn bridge from their bedroom window. I remember it lit up at night.
Good for you for taking charge of your health. Walking is one of the best things for your health. and it feels good.

Thank you! Very busy with a certain little puppy right now, but I hope to post some pics tomorrow. All I can do to stop him chewing the computer wires at present!
All the best!

I have to pay you a compliment. I've noticed that you are able to make so many diversified friends here. Not only are you a great guy, but you're very knowledgeable about so many things. My interests are much narower than yours.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the group of friends i've made here. It's that I sometimes wish I could have more of an ability to branch out to others by having more diverse interests.
Have a great day.
Grayb the American Gypsy? Rollin with the seasons, on the road gaining insight into the Flying Dutchman of the American Dream, somehow that sounds very Kerouac and very appropriate.
