It has been a strange week but the past couple of days have been fun!! So that is going to be the topic of tonights blog!!
Thursday night I had the wonderful chance to meet up with a fellow SGATLien Dr.Pepper23 and attend a season premier party of the L Word @ the Wet Bar. Holy Crap a ton of Atlanta's ladies came out in force to see the first showing of the L Word. We showed up at the Wet Bar about 7:45 and the line to get into the club was around the block. No joke!! Dr.Pepper and myelf almost did not get in line but figured what the hell...the worst that could happen is that we do not get in. So a hour later we actually get into the club and find out that we are just a few people shy of being tured away. Yes..that many people show and even more did not get in. Since there was such a large turn out Daniel Sea actually came outside to those who were waiting in line and did a little meet and greet with everyone. She was a outstanding sport and took photos and signed autographcs to anyone who asked her and smiled the entire time. Here is my photo with her.....
So those of you who live in Atlanta and like gay and gay friendly bars go check out the Wet Bar on Spring Street. Even though the club was full and had to turn people away we were not jammed in like sardines. The club had an awesome layout and tons of room to move around. ( this was my first time visited the club and plan to go again )
Friday night was my good friend Nicki's birthday!! We all went out to eat at a resturant by our apartment called Soultast ( I'm sure I missed spelled it ). This is one of Atlanta's little secrets. It is a very small and cozy resturant on Boulavard near the zoo. I have apsted by it million times and never knew the good food that I was passing up. Plus since they are a new resturant they do not have a liquar licence and you can bring your own booze!! Soo...we ate, drank, and drank some more and then went to see Rocky Horror Picture show @ the Plaza Theater. Here are a few fun pictures from tonight......
